James McBrides' Heaven & Earth Gospel Tour

Saturday, October 12th | 8:00 pm

The Harrisburg Book Festival is honored to welcome #1 New York Times bestselling author James McBride to the Midtown Scholar Bookstore for a one-night-only music performance and reading on his new novel, The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store. McBride will be accompanied by The Good Lord Bird Band.

Set in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, McBride brings his masterful storytelling skills and deep faith in humanity to The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store — showing us that even in dark times, it is love and community—heaven and earth—that sustain us.

This event has been made possible by the generous support of Messiah University and the School of Arts, Culture, and Society. There will not be a public book signing following the event.
