Love and Lore
Olivie Blake, Hannah Nicole Maehrer, and Amanda Foody
Wednesday, October 9th | 7 pm
In Januaries, the New York Times bestselling author of Olivie Blake (The Atlas Six) delivers a stunning collection of short fiction featuring fourteen magical ruminations on life, death, and the love―or desire for revenge―that outlasts both.
And in Apprentice to the Villain, Hannah Nicole Maehrer (Assistant to the Villain) follows up her #1 NYT bestselling debut as Evie faces her greatest challenge yet: protecting The Villain’s lair, all of his nefarious works, and maybe (provided no one finds out) the entire kingdom. No pressure, Evie.
This event is sponsored by Millersville University Department of English & World Languages.

About the Speakers:
Olivie Blake is the New York Times bestselling author of The Atlas Six, Alone with You in the Ether, One for My Enemy, and Masters of Death. As Alexene Farol Follmuth, she is also the author of the young adult rom-coms My Mechanical Romance and Twelfth Knight. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, goblin prince/toddler, and rescue pit bull.
Hannah Nicole Maehrer—or as TikTok Knows her, @hannahnicolemae—is a fantasy romance author and BookToker with a propensity for villains. When she’s not creating bookish comedy skits about Villains and Assistants, she’s writing to Taylor Swift songs. Her biggest passions in life include romance, magic, laughter, and finding ways to include them all in everything she creates. Most days you can find her with her head in the clouds and a pen in her hand.
Amanda Foody is the New York Times, USA Today, and indie bestselling author of All of Us Villains (with C.L. Herman), the Wilderlore series, the Shadow Game series, and more. Her work has appeared in publications including Buzzfeed, Popsugar, Culturess, and Amazon selected All of Us Villains as the Best Young Adult Book of 2021. Originally from Pennsylvania, she lives in Boston, MA with her partner and their orange tabby, Jelly Bean. When not writing, she unironically loves to cook.
